Shopping

Jack and I went to the mall today and had so much fun. It was his first real shopping trip in a grown-up store (ie, one where I can't go nurse him if he starts to act up). We went to Macy's so that I could buy some new clothes, since mine have all inexplicably shrunken since I had him. He rode in his Snugrider with the hood down and was as cute as could be. He smiled and laughed the whole time, and looked all around at everything. We were there for more than an hour and he was as good as he could be. We'll definitely do more shopping in the future.

Funny New Sounds

Last night Jack started making the funniest noises - weird high-pitched squeals, like a cat in a microwave. We thought maybe he was sick, but now we think he just likes making that sound because he kept making it all day.

Jamming with his Daddy - he loves to hear Scott play the guitar.

He's gotten so big! I can't believe he's almost four months. But he's still my little baby. Today I got a newborn stretch, and then he curled up in my arms and fell asleep. I'll hate it when he doesn't do his newborn stretch anymore - I know that one day I'll realize he hasn't done one in awhile, and they'll be gone for good. It's one of my favorite things that he does.

Tonight we went to bed at 9:00 - it's 10:30 now, and I'm anxious to see how it goes.
